Teriyaki

This simple and quick sauce is wonderful for a quick but elegant meal.

Ingredients:

6 tbsp miso paste
3 tbsp sake or white wine (we've used Sherry with good results)
3 tbsp brown sugar
1 tsp grated ginger
2 cloves garlic, crushed
2 tbsp sesame oil (or vegetable oil)
1/4 tsp dry mustard
1 block extra firm tofu
Assorted Vegetables (peppers, onions, tomatoes, mushrooms, zucchini etc.).

Mix all ingredients and marinate tofu or veggies for at least an hour before broiling and basting. Serve over rice.
