FRUIT SMOOTHIES

Smoothies are one of the easiest, healthiest and tastiest breakfasts ever invented. Simply put, they are a combination of fruit, fruit-juices and other ingredients, whipped up in a blender. There are as many combinations as your imagination can come up with, but here are a few of our favourite combinations.

METHOD
Combine the combinations listed below (experimenting is encouraged!) in a blender and blend until smooth.

1 Ripe Banana - Peeled
4 Oranges - Juiced and Strained of Seeds (Florida Oranges tend to give the most juice)
1 Lemon - Juiced and Strained of Seeds
2 Tbsp Maple Syrup
Juice of 1 Tbsp Fresh Grated Ginger (squeeze the juice out using a garlic press)
4 Ice Cubes

2 Grapefruit - Juiced and Strained of Seeds
2 Tbsp Maple Syrup
Juice of 1 Tbsp Fresh Grated Ginger (squeeze the juice out using a garlic press)
1 Cup of Strawberries - Washed and Topped 4 Ice Cubes
